Nový Orient (New Orient) is a Czech language journal founded in 1945 (ISSN 0029-5302). Currently it is issued three times a year.
Articles published in Nový Orient adress academic as well as general reading public. The journal follows diverse subjects, trying to present unbiased and well-founded information on Asian and African countries, their cultures, history and contemporary affairs.
