Dari is the official name for the Persian language written and spoken in Afghanistan. The prerequisite of the course is an existing knowledge of Persian (Farsi) of approximately 3 semesters, and of the Arabic alphabet. Various printed and manuscript sources from the 19th and 20th centuries will be read and analyzed, and subsequently discussed in Persian/Dari; part of the course is also devoted to spoken language. Students from outside Czechia will be charged a fee of 100 EUR.
