OI Director Táňa Dluhošová interviewed Pai Hsien-yung for PLAV about his view of Taiwanese Literature. Pai Hsien-yung belongs to the first generation of Chinese immigrant authors who came to Taiwan after 1945 with the retreating Kuomintang army. He is an important representative of the modernist literary movement and also one of the first Taiwanese authors dealing with homosexual issues.
