Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic, H.E. Edgardo Meñez, formally turned over the Czech translation of José Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere (Nedotýkej se mě, 2023) to Dr. Reysa Alenzuela, Head Librarian at the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
This is the first Czech translation from Rizal’s original Spanish text—an enduring novel that exposed colonial injustices and helped ignite the Filipino national movement.
