Reysa Alenzuela, Head Librarian of the Oriental Institute Library, has been honored with the 2023 Global Librarian Award by the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI). This recognition was bestowed upon her during the Centennial National Congress held on 24 November 2023 at Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. The citation highlights Reysa's dedication and contributions to the field of librarianship, particularly through her projects in Asia and the Pacific and her active involvement in international associations. The award was given during PLAI Centennial Congress which is an annual gathering of esteemed librarians and information professionals not only from the Philippines but around the globe.
