Juliána Fiedorová is a student of Ancient Near Eastern Languages and History (Assyriology) at the Freie Universität Berlin, where she specialises in cuneiform script and the languages of the ancient Near East. She is from the Czech Republic and previously attended the Austrian Gymnasium in Prague. Her research interests focus on the history of science and mathematics in ancient Mesopotamia. Her current research concerns mathematics and its everyday applications in the Old Babylonian period, as well as its significance in the history of mathematics in Mesopotamia.
